EVENT: Upcoming ISL Parenting Seminar – “Third Culture Families”

On Tuesday 19th May, the International School of Luxembourg (ISL) will be holding an evening parenting seminar entitled ‘Third Culture Families’.

This is a DON’T MISS seminar with guest presenter:

  • Drs. Douglas Ota (Psychologist & Author)

Drs. Douglas Ota graduated from Princeton University in N.J. and then further east to study Clinical Child Psychology at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands, going on to become a registered child psychologist with the Dutch Psychological Association. For many years, he was a high school counsellor at the American School of The Hague. He now works in private practice.

Half of Ota’s professional activities are devoted to counselling with children and adolescents, individuals, couples, and families (www.dougota.nl). The other half is devoted to consulting with international schools and organizations on how to build programs to address the challenges and opportunities of mobility – programs that guarantee safe passage. Drs Ota will share his wealth of knowledge which has been shared in his current book titled “Safe Passage”. This seminar helps parents understand the challenges and opportunities of mobility – programs that guarantee safe passage.
