Passage Evening Seminar: Keeping History Alive

On Wednesday 22nd April Passage hosted a unique evening seminar entitled “Keeping History Alive” with a special guest speaker. Steven Frank, a Dutch Jew and one of only 93 children who survived the atrocities at Thereienstadt, told the fascinating story about his grim and harrowing experiences in the Czech concentration camp during the Second World War. Steven also highlighted his involvement in a project to keep history alive for future generations by creating holograms of survivors who can carry on telling their story in the first person.

For everyone involved it was an insightful and thought provoking evening, which we hope to repeat again in the future. In the meantime, here is a brief account of the evening’s events for your reference.
