2nd Passage Seminar: Making the most of your time

Our 2nd Passage evening seminar on Wednesday 2nd April 2014 again featured a panel of four guest presenters, who each spoke on the subjects of Organisational skills, Mindfulness and Mind-mapping respectively. Here are their professional profiles for your reference:

 

Madhumalti Sharma – IT & Project Management Specialist

Madhumalti Sharma has more than 15 years in the Information Technology industry- diverse experience in technical, functional and project management area. She is a certified Project Management Professional from Project Management Institute, IBM accredited IT Specialist and was on the India Accreditation Review Board. She has worked with IBM for 11 years on projects for large Fortune 500 clients in the FMCG industry, life sciences industry, public utilities and also an Asian Development Bank funded project. She is on the Board of the Project Management Institute Luxembourg Chapter and presented various topics including PM for Kids. From the beginning of this year, she has started Coding workshops for kids.

 

Patricia Andersson – ISL Upper School Counsellor

Patricia Andersson is the Upper School Counsellor at the International School of Luxembourg. She has trained in teaching Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction courses with Bangor University. She is also a trained Mindfulness in Schools ‘.b’ teacher and currently teaches mindfulness to staff and students at ISL as well as providing courses for the public in her private capacity as a counsellor.

 

Kate Ensor – Passage Coordinator

Kate is a mum of two lively boys. Her own journey to parenthood was such an adventure that she decided to put her career in corporate training and coaching on ice and retrain as a childbirth and parenting educator. After working with families in London for 5 years she relocated to Luxembourg & now enjoys supporting a whole new set of parents here in Luxembourg through her work with the Well Baby Clinic of Luxembourg asbl, Passage parent support group & the BLC.

 

Lynn Frank – Passage Coordinator

Lynn Frank is a co-founder of Passage and a trained Parent Group Facilitator. In the UK she worked as a national Helpline Manager recruiting, training and supervising volunteers. As a parent of two in Luxembourg, she has worked with adults and children in various organisations including the BLC, Well Baby Clinic, and is presently a Beaver Scout Leader with Telstar International Scouts. She claims to have mind mapped her way across Europe with only a bunch of coloured pens and paper to guide her in all major decisions including conjugation, cohabitation and what to cook for the family tonight!
