EVENT: Luxembourg Code Club organises a “Coding Taste” on Sunday 14th October, 2pm-5pm
This just in from the Luxembourg Code Club…
“Coding Taste” is a multilingual event (FR / DE / EN / LB) where children aged 6 to 12 years accompanied by an adult, can learn about computer programming in a fun and entertaining way. This is a creative approach to programming tools through motion graphics, robots, logic games, algorithmic puzzles, etc.
Why organize this event?
To give our children the opportunity to become familiar with essential digital skills that tomorrow will occupy the same place as reading, writing or arithmetic.
But mentors do not give courses on masterful coding. The main idea is that children make their first steps in computer with their parents, under the benevolent supervision of our expert volunteers. And if you have already participated in a programming shop, do not worry, everyone will have fun at their own pace.
At the end of the day, families will have the tools, knowledge and inspiration to keep coding at home!
What should you bring?
As in “Coding Taste”, there is “Taste”, delicious part of the concept is the “potluck”. Each family will contribute to the great taste by bringing a cake, cookies, candy or fruit… so all participants will share a friendly moment between two workshops! We will take care of the drinks.
