PPN: Trans-disciplinary Support, a Discussion with Melissa Elenes

Our Next Professionals Networking (PPN) Evening

Topic: Creating a Trans-disciplinary Support Offer for Families

Date: Wednesday, December 2, 2026

Time: from 7 pm onwards

Venue: Accueil Luxembourg, 10 Bisserweg, 1238 Grund, Luxembourg

Through our work over then years, Passage has encountered parents from all walks of life facing challenges in receiving and sourcing adequate and customised support for their children. Our discussions with experts have often brought to light unique solutions to specific problems.

One such idea is that of trans-disciplinary teams working to support families as they navigate the world of supported learning and care for their children. Our next discussion will be on this topic led by, Melissa Elenes, DIR practitioner and master of special education as she reflects on her journey in providing support to families in Luxembourg. Melissa will also focus on the role of trans-disciplinary teams and share her experience of isolation and dealing with fragmented services when trying to navigate a child or parent-centred approach to support.

As always the main focus of the evening is still a Professionals networking event, so we hope that you will find the time to join us for a social drink and some nibbles to head into to winter the right way! We look forward to your company on the night.

If you interested in joining us at the event, please email Alex Howell at: ppn@passage.lu to confirm your attendance.
