The idea for Passage support meetings began some years ago, in a café, with a few moms, in the quiet hours of the morning, after ‘drop-off’, over several cups of coffee (as is the only way most parents get great ideas!).
We were a group of parents who were all dealing with, at the time, various personal minor and major crises, all centred around our kids. Our little, impromptu coffee mornings were where we would offload our worries, talk about our big defeats or small victories of the day, or simply gripe about our lives, sans judgement. It was a lovely, safe space besides being a great way to recharge our batteries and find solutions in the wealth of shared experiences.
In keeping with that spirit of coffee and community, Passage conducts monthly support meetings over coffee. Irrespective of the venue, we will always offer you a safe, judgement-free space to meet other parents on journeys similar to yours. Indeed, from all the feedback we receive about our meetings, the best, and most often heard one has always been “It’s such a relief and joy to know that we are not alone in this.” As a result, over time, our Passage support meetings have become the pillar of our group. Undoubtedly, this is our core event, defining our purpose and presence in Luxembourg.
Join in and meet us – ‘us’ being a group of parents just like you – and just talk about anything. Our Passage monthly meetings have become a great way to share not just your troubles, but your ideas and experiences too. We guarantee that you will walk out feeling recharged, energetic and lighter!
Write to us at passage.parents@gmail.com to confirm your attendance and receive updates. We also have a facebook group you can ask to join. We publish all information about our activities and activities of partner groups here.
